Seremban: Yesterday evening, a mother was heartbroken when her only four-month-old child died about a month after being sent to a nanny's house.
The unfortunate woman involved, Lilis Handayani Sukran, 24, said she received an emergency call from the nanny informing her baby girl, Luna Aralyn Amar Ridhwan, was in a weak condition.
At the time of the incident, I was at work when I got a call from the nanny informing my sons body was bluish.
"The nanny asked me to go home immediately. I only started sending the child to the nanny for a month," she said when met at the Forensic Department of Tuanku Jaafar Hospital (HTJ) Seremban, here, at noon yesterday.
Luna Aralyn Amar Ridhwan unfortunately passed away at Hospital Tuanku Jaafar (HTJ).
According to her, she was still shocked by the death of her baby and still did not know the real cause of the incident.
Police have begun the investigation to find out the real cause of death of the poor baby. Just yesterday, 3 individuals were called forward to assist the investigation.
"Currently, the results of the autopsy report on the cause of death of the baby have not been obtained, it take times because it involves a child's case," Seremban District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Nanda Maarof said in a press conference.
According to him, the incident took place at 4.40 pm, the victim's mother who was at work received a phone call from a nanny asking her to come immediately to her residence in Taman Tuanku Jaafar, Senawang here because the baby was in a critical condition, very weak and her face is pale.
He said that as soon as she arrived, the mother found that her baby's facial skin was pale and there was no reaction when she tried to wake her up.
The baby was then sent to HTJ here for treatment and was pronounced dead 30 minutes later.
