A man was recently found stabbed to death in front of Lukut Food Court by a food truck owner using a sharp object.
The assailant fled the area in a white Proton Wira.
According to a witness who wishes to remain anonymous, the victim was a mentally ill man who wandered around town all the time.
He would generally ask the owners of roadside stalls and food trucks for food. The assailant apparently arrived from Segamat and fled the scene after stabbing the poor victim.
The incident happened at 7:35 p.m., and officers arrived quickly to discover the man unconscious and covered in blood in the parking lot area.
The Medical Officer verified that the victim had died after being examined. As of now, authorities are investigating the incident, and the motive of the incident remains unknown.
