Malaysian nationals will receive a free 30-day eTourist visa between July 1 and June 30, 2025, granted specifically by the Indian High Commission to Malaysia.

However, it stated that although there would be no fees for the eTourist visa with double entry, applicants would still need to pay the required visa payments.
In a statement released on Saturday, June 29, reported by The Star, it stated, "Those who wish to obtain normal paper visas from an outsource provider or the High Commission of India will continue to pay the prescribed visa fees."
Visa costs are also required of applicants for the eMedical Attendant, eAyush, and eEmergency visas.
The current regulations pertaining to eTourist visas and other eVisas will remain in effect.

The e-tourist visa must be used within 120 days of issuance, said the Indian High Commission.
Since December 1st of last year, Malaysia has given visitors from India 30 days of visa-free travel.
