Influencers are doing whatever they can these days to make a living, and the more creative you get, the better off you are.
This definitely applies to one Marissa Wong, who is an influencer who reviews public restrooms! Yes, you read that right.
She is a woman in her 20s from Subang Jaya, Selangor and has found fame on social media by giving commentaries on the quality of public toilets nationwide.

Marissa noted that her journey into reviewing public toilets began after encountering a particularly dirty and unhygienic facility. The experience made her question why people rarely reviewed toilets, despite the abundance of food reviews online.
"That awareness prompted me to create reviews on something more beneficial. I might be the most disgusting content creator in Malaysia, and perhaps in the world," Wong said.
She also reminds her followers that the perfect toilet doesn't necessarily need to be beautiful or luxurious, but it would be enough if it is fully functional, clean, with good ventilation, bright lighting and equipped with hygiene products.

Marissa regards the facilities at The Gardens Mall here as the "most perfect" she's ever visited because cleanliness is their top priority.
"Even during busy times or when there are many people, the toilet remains clean," she said.
Because of her efforts, she was even invited to attend the Toilet of the Year Award 2024 in Kuala Lumpur last Oct 30, which was organized by the Housing and Local Government Ministry.
