It is no doubt that online shopping offers a lot of convenience, but at the same time, buying things online means you have no guarantee of the product’s quality and might end up receiving ‘unexpected items’.

Twitter user @Sam_Sawdy recently shared a photo of his friend’s crooked reflection when looking into a new decorative mirror which he bought online.

The man in the mirror, 22-year-old Muhammad Zahirrudin Baharin, told mStar that he ordered the 12-piece hexagonal mirror from China and has been waiting for 2 weeks before it finally arrived.

“I saw it in a video about decoration on TikTok, so I thought I’d buy it online,” he said.

“It was supposed to be used to decorate my room. When it arrived, I took a look at one mirror piece and thought it looked different. I though it is okay, and tried to arrange the mirror pieces and installed them all on the wall.”

Perhaps he thought things would be better when the pieces are all together. Well, he was wrong.

“After I installed all the mirror pieces, it looked even worse,” said Zahir.

So, he shared the picture as well as a screenshot of his review on the product with his friends on WhatsApp.

One of his friends posted his ‘distorted’ look on Twitter. The Tweet went viral, garnering 66k likes and 55k retweets at the time of writing.

What a hilarious yet horrifying online shopping experience for Zahir. We wonder if he would continue to shop online after this.
