Hold up, what?
You read right, USA Today is hiring and they’re looking for Beyonce and Taylor Swift reporters.
These reporters will only cover all things to respective artists each and nothing else.
Yesterday reports stated that the media outlet posted a job ad for a reporter to cover Swift and her Eras tour.
Today, a second role has been offered: Chronicle the music, fashion, cultural and economic influence of Beyonce.
Besides having fans who would certainly sign up for the job, the two powerhouses have also very much boosted the American economy.
Did you know that a Swiftie (T.Swift fan) spends $1,500 when attending a concert, and a Beyhive (Beyonce fan), spends $1,800?
All in all, both of them have brought in $5.4 billion in the third quarter of the year.
Both the job roles offer similar pay and benefits. Remote reporters earning between $21-50 an hour. They would also get to travel internationally as they follow the stars.
“Our role is to cover the newsmakers who run the world, influence our society, impact lives and create positive change”, said chief content officer.
