National men’s singles champion Lee Zii Jia advanced to the top 16 at the Paris 2024 Olympics after defeating Spanish player Pablo Abian yesterday.
Zii Jia secured the win with a score of 21-10, 21-13 in just 34 minutes at the Porte de La Chapelle Arena.
The former Asian and All-England champion appeared relaxed yet energetic throughout the match.

In the shared video, the commentator said, “It doesn’t matter if he gave the cold shoulder to fellow journalists before departing for Paris…that’s his choice. But after this, he shouldn’t isolate himself too often from those who are trying to boost his image.”
