Maudi was a construction worker who lived with his wife (Haimah Ismulin) and his nine children in the construction workers ’dorms. During the movement control order (MCO), the project was stopped. Maudi and his family were asked by the employer to move out of the dormitory. Maudi lost his income and he could not find a new job. Two weeks ago, they built a temporary shelter with wooden boards, cardboard boxes and canvas at an area which is 3 miles from Abbas Road.

People discovered Haimah and the children when the young children were crying because of hunger. Haima revealed in an interview with Astro AWANI that fortunately there were good-hearted people who brought food to them. She said that because she couldn't afford milk and food, she could only drink syrup water for her one-year-old child. When it comes to children, Haima choked with tears several times, not only because she could not get children to go to school for education, but also because she is unable to change the fate of her children. "I often pray to God, hoping that our family will live a better life," she said. The difficulty of this family has attracted the attention of non-governmental organizations and civil society organizations to reach out with a helping hand.
