Who wouldn‘t love a good ol' thriller? We’ve compiled 8 of the best thriller movies (and one series) you could watch on Netflix, in no particular order.

1. In The Shadow Of The Moon

This movie takes place in the 1980s. It revolves around a police detective who becomes obsessed with tracking a serial killer who surfaces once every nine years but gets this: he watches as the killer gets murdered with his own eyes only to have him resurfaced again nine years later. That's when things start to get real interesting...

2. The Invisible Guest

A young businessman wakes up next to his lover's bloodied corpse and everything just goes downhill from there., basically. But when he invites a prestigious lawyer to defend his case and investigate his house, that's when the plot thickens. 

3. Boy Missing 

A kidnapped boy suddenly lost his ability to talk due to intense trauma after being found. His father, who happens to be a lawyer, decides to take his own initiative to try and find the kidnapper. However, even the police are unable to catch the seemingly elusive culprit. When he begins to dig deeper into the mystery, he sort of wishes he didn't. 

4. Circle

This movie is like a hybrid between Saw and any regular talk show, where 50 participants facing execution have to decide who among them is worthy to be spared. Pretty dark stuff, but fairly consumable compared with the other movies on our list. 

5. Shutter Island

Shutter Island is a must-watch for thrill-seekers and besides its star-studded cast, this movie is also packed with scenes that would awaken so many phobias in you. it tells the story of two detectives who are stationed on a remote island to investigate a creepy asylum.  

6. The Visit

This movie starts on an unassuming note at first and quickly evolves into an eerie plot twist that catches you off guard. It is recommended to watch this with a friend or family so you could have yourself a screaming buddy. Makes it more fun. 

7. Hush

Hush is probably one of the most anxiety-inducing movies to watch, after A Quiet Place. They certainly share similar vibes, except instead of dealing with a gnarly beast, the main character has to hide from a murderous psycho.

8. Dark

Not exactly a movie, but we just had to include this brilliant German thriller series on our list. If you can only watch one from this list, let it be Dark. It's about time travel with a whole lot of plot twists that the mere human brain cannot possibly take.
