Based on reports, it would appear that the country with the most wealth in the world, is no longer the United States of America.
A research done by McKinsey & Co predicted that China’s riches has increased from $7 trillion in the year 2000, to $120 trillion in 2020.
The US on the other hand, states a value of only $90 trillion in the year 2020, because of failure to launch prices within the property market.
For the past 20 years, China has held one third of gains in global net worth. The nation became a member of the World Trade Organization in 2001, and henceforth grew their wealth.
Besides that, global wealth has also since increased threefold in the past two decades, from $156 trillion (2000) to $514 trillion (2020).
