Malaysia is honestly home to many wonders of nature. One of them is the lakes but more specifically the blue lakes that are a deep, unnatural shade of vibrant blue surrounded by the old mines quarry walls.
While you might be tempted to take a little dip in it, DON’T!
Most blue lakes used to be mines, some gold mines some iron ore mines so the waters in the lakes are chemically dangerous and could corrode your skin.
So, no swimming but definitely a lot of photo taking!
If you’re a nature lover, take a short hike at the nearest Blue Lake in your state. There’s almost one in every state, if your state is not one of them, then just #RentasNegeri to your neighbouring state and visit it!
