Announced by Lionsgate and reported by DiscussingFilm, the original cast is set to be featured alongside "a new generation of magician thieves!"
The film will be directed by Ruben Fleischer, who helmed Zombieland. Lionsgate claimed last year that the picture was set to begin production this spring and referred to the sequel as a "reimagining of the original two movies."
In a statement given by Jesse Eisenberg, production is set to be in the coming months and he has even read the script already!
In the 2016 sequel, Lizzy Caplan stepped in as a replacement for Fisher, tackling an elaborate heist. However, it has not been confirmed whether Fisher or Caplan or both actors will be actively involved in the third film.
Stay tuned for more updates! They might have a trick or two up their sleeves eh.
