Kim Soo-hyun has been trending #1 on Twitter since, due to allegations that the famous K-actor was in an illegal relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron while the actress was still a minor.

As countless renditions of the story has flooded the internet, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency Goldmedalist announced this morning (11 Mar) of a legal response to the claims first made by Garo-sero Research Institute (Gaseyeon) via their YouTube broadcast.

Reports noted that Gaseyeon alleged the 37yo star colluded with a YouTuber to bully the late Kim Sae-ron, while also claiming that the actress was in a relationship with him, when she was still a minor (aged 15).

Other allegations includes the famous actor loaning a huge sum of money to Sae-ron, having her work without compensation and cutting off her contract, while demanding she pay the loan in full.

Goldmedalist has strongly denied these claims, noting them to be “blatantly false” and adding that they were “absolutely intolerable falsehoods.” They also emphasised their intent to take legal action.

The controversy has come after the tragic suicide of the actress on 16 Feb this year. Prior to that, Kim Sae-ron was reported to have posted a throwback selfie with the actor (during the height of his K-Drama Queen Of Tears), before quickly deleting it.

Throughout the years 2022-2024, the actress was also caught up in a DUI incident, a career plateau and even a comeback attempt.

Despite refutes from parties involved, netizens stand with Kim Sae-ron and are calling for strong legal action against actor Kim Soo-hyun. Stay tuned to Goody as the story unfolds.
