Ukraine to Deploy Inmates from Jail in their War Against Russia

01-Mar-2022

Based on reports, in order to combat their war against Russia, the Ukraine has confirmed the release and sending of prisoners with military background from jail, to help.

The decision to allow inmates to take up arms, fight and then be pardoned for their crimes, which started off as probable misinformation, was then confirmed by a reporter with The Kyiv Independent, a Ukrainian publication.

Yesterday (Feb 28th), after the tweet by said reporter, the official Kyiv Independent twitter account then announced the decision, quoting Ukrainian president Volodymr Zelensky.

Implications unknown, and more details yet to be revealed, some netizens are believing this to be yet another example of Ukraine doing everything in their power to fight off Russian aggressors.

Others on the other hand are against the move, in shock, or are making references to hit movie 'Suicide Squad'.
