Salt Bae is no stranger to making headlines. Following his recent World Cup debacle (if you know, you know!), the celebrity chef has yet again faced another backlash.
On TikTok, a so-called superfan was filmed plucking his courage to approach Salt Bae at one of his steakhouse chains. At one point in the video, the TikToker expressed his admiration towards the chef by calling him an "inspiration".
The gesture, however, was unreciprocated as Salt Bae was shown barely interested in the conversation.
Salt Bae's rather "salty" treatment towards the TikToker raised eyebrows as the latter later claimed he's not famous enough to impress the chef.
Guess it's time to find a new figure to idolize then?
