Malaysia Airlines passengers traveling from Doha to Kuala Lumpur are stranded at Hamad International Airport, with some waiting for over 24 hours.
Flight MH165, scheduled to depart on August 12 at 8:05 AM local time, was canceled.
Among those affected is Malaysian photojournalist Annice Lyn, who was returning from covering the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Passengers' passports have been collected multiple times, but there is no clear communication or further instructions from the airline.
Lyn mentioned that there were no provisions for meals or care packs for the stranded passengers.
Another stranded passenger, @faizalhamssin, took to social media to express frustration.
He reported that many passengers, including children and the elderly, were without hotel arrangements, food, or water.
Passengers have been informed of potential hotel arrangements, but it remains unclear if they will be able to fly out that night.
