A dispute at the Perling Highway toll booth in Johor Bahru escalated into a physical altercation after a driver, unable to pass through despite having sufficient balance on his Touch 'n Go card, confronted a toll worker.
As confirmed by the police, the case is now under investigation for affray under Section 160 of the Penal Code, which carries a potential sentence of up to six months in jail, a RM1,000 fine, or both.
According to their statement, the altercation resulted in minor injuries for both parties.
