After a period of silence following the Paris Olympics, Lee Zii Jia, the bronze medalist in mens singles badminton from Malaysia, has made his first lengthy post on Facebook and Instagram, expressing his gratitude to his team and supporters. 


Lee shared his emotional journey in three heartfelt posts on both his Facebook & Instagram account, each in a different language: Malay, English and Mandarin. 


In his post, Lee mentioned sharing the honour of Olympic bronze with his team, who have supported him through every storm since 2022, enabling him to achieve his current success. 


He also thanked his sponsors, acknowledging that their support has allowed him to pursue his dreams without worry. 


Additionally, Lee expressed gratitude to the University of Malaya for providing training facilities that helped him complete his teams training regimen. 


He concluded his message with a promise: "I'll keep all those blessings for me to continue in my professional journey. Thank You."


Lee's unexpected gratitude post has delighted fans, with the Malay version of this thank-you note already receiving 141k likes.
