ICYMI: WATCH: Ailing Taxi Driver's Dedication To Duty Leaves Netizens Concerned
A shop selling pretzels and snacks received unwelcome visitors to their outlet in a mall in Penang recently. Twitter user @khatulisteewa said she witnessed around 10 rats loitering at the rubbish bin of the outlet in the 22-second video she shared on social media.
As per the video, the rats were only seen around the rubbish area and not at the places where the food was prepared and stored. The store appeared closed, suggesting that the video was taken outside its business hours.
"Please refrain from getting your pretzel fix, unless you like them extra-flavoured," she said in her viral tweet recently.

The video has so far garnered over 144,000 views. The video left some netizens disgusted and even tagged the Health Ministry official Twitter account to check on the issue.
A Twitter user @maknae_taja quoted her tweet and said that this was a norm for eateries inside shopping malls.
"I know some people prefer to eat at malls because it is cleaner compared to roadside shops but the reality is that all malls with restaurants typically have these pests whether they are visible or not.
"Even expensive malls in KL (Kuala Lumpur) also have such animals at the eateries," she said.
Others took a humorous perspective and referred to them as rodents from the animated film Ratatouille.
"That is why they always hit the spot, it is Ratatouille after all," said @AKlROWA quoting the original tweet.
