A mother almost lost her two children in the Elmina plane crash incident on Thursday.
The mother @lilysazali in an Instagram post said she could not help but to feel grateful that her children narrowly missed the crash.
In a video from a dashboard camera of a passing vehicle, which accompanied her post, saw the moment the aircraft crashed and burst into flames near Elmina with a car, which her children were in, narrowly missing it.
"I almost lost my children yesterday, but they were kept safe by Allah. Alhamdulillah Ya Allah. I am forever grateful and thankful to Allah and the teacher who risked her life to bring my children back safely.
"It's surprising to think that a short 5km journey could be so dangerous. It reminds me of a passage I read or saw, where disasters happen but people come out unharmed, and it's believed that prayers from one's mother and charitable acts play a role.
"I believe the teachers have done many good deeds and as a result, my children are now safe #alhamdulillah #sujudsyukur #elminaaircraftcrash," she said in the post.
In the incident, the six-seater Beechcraft Model 390 (Premier 1) bearing the registration number N28JV, crashed near Elmina during its approach into Subang Airport from Langkawi.
The crash had killed all eight people onboard and two road users.
