Two Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) helicopters collided and crashed, killing all personnel on board. Waran II Noorfarahimi Mohd Saedy, one of the slain officers, was said to be the happiest during the recent Raya celebration by one of her relatives.
Noorfarahimi, 41, also known as Farah, was set to retire, and she was most delighted about the possibility of finally residing with her spouse in Kuantan. She was supposed to retire in June of this year, but fate always seems to be one step ahead. She knew she was about to retire, therefore she wished to ride the helicopter one last time.
Sadly, it was the last journey that no one expected. Farah left behind three children and a husband, who also serves as a TLDM officer.
Farah's daughter and son, Alwani and Alif, stated that their parents always inspired them, and they aspire to be like them.
Despite their mother's death, Alwani and Alif said it had not diminished their desire to be like their mother. It has inspired them more to pursue their aspirations.
Farah's family additionally claimed that just before the helicopters crashed, Farah managed to send a video to the WhatsApp group that captured the breathtaking sights from the helicopter.
M Sharil Hanifah, Farah's close friend, claimed he wasn't feeling well after learning of the helicopter crash.
"I called Farah right after I saw the news because I didn't feel good about it and didn't know who the victims were." "But she never picked up," he said.
