Sick of waking up early before the sun rises to prepare breakfast? Just a few steps to prepare overnight oats before you go to bed!
Ingredients:
Rolled oats
Chia seed
Vanilla extract
Greek yogurt
Low-fat milk / full cream milk /plant-based milk
Honey
Fresh fruits / dried fruits / muesli / granola
Step:
1. Mix 2 tablespoons of rolled oat and 1 teaspoon of chia seed in a mason jar or glass cup.
2. Add 1/4 greek yogurt and vanilla extract.
3. Add 1 tablespoon of honey as a sweetener and milk of your choice.
4. Mix the overnight oats until no clumps.
5. Seal or cover it with a lid and chill in the fridge overnight.
6. The next morning, add your favorite toppings such as banana, dried cranberries, muesli, or granola.
It's just as simple as that!
Notes:
1. The ratio of the ingredients can be changed according to your preference.
2. You may substitute the toppings according to your preference.
3. You may also substitute honey with maple syrup.
