Even been in a messy breakup à la Kanye and Kim? You know, the one where your ex can't seem to let you go (yeah, THAT ONE). If you immediately whispered a faint 'yes' to that question, then you know where this article is heading to.
So, what do you do when an ex is constantly reaching out to you or hinting of a possible reconciliation?
If you're already set in moving on but your ex isn't, it's time to let him face the music for good. Here's how:
Rule 1- Hit That Block Button
Yes we can all agree that this part is easier said than done. But if you don't initiate it, then what's the point in breaking off for good? And yes, this includes blocking ALL of his social media accounts.
Rule 2- Bye Friends
Sometimes, desperate times call for desperate measures- which includes using other necessary means aka friends.
If he's already blocked, he may still have access to stalk you via his friends' Instagram accounts. Even worse, forcing friends to beg for reconciliation on his behalf which is quite a creepy thing to do.
When this happens and your privacy is at stake, consider doing Rule 1 on them too.
Rule 3- Girl, Don't Check In On Him
Deep down, you still somewhat care about him. While you think you're being nice, this gesture will only create more hurt and drama on your end (remember, it was a MESSY breakup).
The end of a relationship isn't exactly all sunshine and rainbows. If healing is what you're longing for, then looking back isn't what you should chase after.
