Losing your luggage at the airport can be really frustrating, after all, your subsequent itinerary may be greatly affected. But if there are staff willing to lend a hand, you won't feel so bad psychologically even if your luggage cannot be found!
According to Sin Chew Daily, Ms. Wang Huiling from Singapore recently lost her hand luggage at KLIA. After she informed the airport police, they took 5 hours to help her find her luggage, which touched Ms. Wang deeply.
According to Ms. Wang, after she finished her business trip in Japan, she could not buy a direct return ticket to Singapore, so she had to fly to Kuala Lumpur first and then transfer to go home.
Unexpectedly, when going through security check, because the driver kept urging her, she carelessly left her hand luggage containing important documents at the airport, and did not discover it until she returned to Singapore!
Ms. Wang drove back to KLIA the next day and went to the lost property counter to ask, but there was no clue. She then asked the airport ground staff for help, and was finally advised to report the case to the airport police station.
"I thought there was little hope and they might just be going through the motions, but I didn't expect the police to be so serious."
The airport police immediately checked the surveillance video, carefully examined it frame by frame, and searched every corner of the airport. After 5 hours of hard work, they finally found Ms. Wang's hand luggage!
In an interview with Sin Chew Daily, Ms. Wang said she was deeply moved by the airport police's professionalism and unremitting efforts, and repeatedly praised the professionalism and responsibility of the KLIA staff and police. After the police helped her find her luggage, Ms. Wang bowed 90 degrees to express her heartfelt gratitude to the police who helped her.
This episode fully demonstrated the professionalism and patience of the KLIA airport police, and also showed us that in a busy airport environment, there are still people willing to do their best for every passenger.
