COVID-19 and lockdown in areas might be bad news to many, but not the environment. We have seen many positive scenes from around the world of how nature is recovering with the drop in pollution due to lockdown.
Another beautiful scene is now emerging in front of people in India.
The people that are living nearby to the magnificent snow-capped Himalayan mountains can now see it in full after it was being hidden away by pollution for 30 years.
As reported by The Sun, the 21-day lockdown in India has led to cars and businesses going out of operation, and hence, lesser air pollution.
The famous Indian cricketer, Harbhajan Singh, posted a clear picture of the Himalayan mountain he took from his rooftop on his Twitter account. He captioned it, "never could imagine that’s possible."
