With the surge in cases, deaths and Malaysian politics in turmoil, many rumours about the current government, as well as its Prime Minister, Muhyiddin Yassin's reign coming to an end, has been floating about.
After much push by citizens and higher ups alike, moments ago, at about 1.10pm, the country's Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Khairy Jamaluddin took to his Instagram story, the resignation of the current government.
His exact words were, “The cabinet has tendered our resignation to the Agong. Thank you for the opportunity to, once again, serve the nation. May God bless Malaysia.”
According to World of Buzz, PM Muhiyiddin was then seen leaving the palace back to his place of residence.
