A video of three best friends shaving their heads recently went viral, moving many netizens to tears under the assumption that they were showing support for a friend battling cancer.
However, OP Zahrin Yunus clarified that none of them were actually battling the disease.
The real reason behind the video was that Zahrin and his friend Hafizi had to go bald for their physical training at the police academy as they were recruits for the police inspector position.
Zahrin mentioned, "He has been my close friend since I worked in Kuala Terengganu, and we shaved our heads because it's compulsory for us to go for the police inspector interview."
As for their other friend, Ridzuan, he is a doctor (wearing a purple shirt) and decided to shave his head as a gesture of support for his friends' new opportunity.
Describing the video, he stated that it was recorded after passing the physical test.
"Two days ago, we both passed the physical test and it was worth it to shave our heads. We just wanted to make a video together, but what was surprising was that the doctor also wanted to go bald. We both couldn't bear to go bald, but due to the requirements of the physical test, we had to cut our hair short."
