A few days ago, the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department posted on their official Facebook page about an incident at Hatten Hotel, Melaka.
Based on the post, a total of 18 guests were stuck in the building's lift between the 21st and the 22nd floor. The department received an emergency call at around 10.12am.
Thankfully all the victims in the lift were safely brought out by the fire brigade. However, two of the victims passed out in the lift because of breathing difficulties.
The group was stuck in the lift for about an hour or so, as the entire rescue op was completed by 11.05am. The two who had passed out was immediately brought to the MOH for treatment.
The hotel has still not released a statement.
