A viral video has emerged depicting a man in a red Elmo costume involved in a fight with two men outside a mall in Melaka. In the video, "Elmo" can be heard shouting profanities and yelling, "Why did you mess with me?"

The video suggests that "Elmo" was initially assaulted in the stomach by one of the men seen sitting at the beginning of the recording. In retaliation, "Elmo" struck back, causing the man to sustain injuries and start bleeding.

The person recording the video then approached "Elmo" and asked what had happened. "Elmo" explained the situation, to which the recorder responded, "Yes, he hit you first, but you've hit him until he's now bleeding. That's not right!"

Melaka Tengah District Police Chief Christopher Patit confirmed that the police are investigating the case, but no official reports have been filed yet. "We need to determine whether the video is new or old. If it is new, we will file a report so that appropriate action can be taken," he stated.

This incident underscores the importance of reacting calmly in confrontational situations. Acting impulsively out of anger can lead to harmful consequences. When mistreated, it's advisable to remain composed, document the incident, and report it to the authorities.
