A horrifying altercation between two men took place at a flat on Jalan Ara Kuda yesterday, leaving a 52-year-old man critically injured after his left eyeball was gouged out.
The incident, reported by Berita Harian, occurred at around 2 PM when the victim, who was allegedly intoxicated, disturbed a 28-year-old foreign national. The altercation escalated violently, with the younger man allegedly using his hand to gouge out the victims left eyeball.
The victim also suffered injuries to his right eye during the confrontation. He is currently in critical condition and receiving treatment at Kepala Batas Hospital.
Health Ministry personnel who arrived at the scene transported the injured man to the hospital. Shockingly, they found the victim's left eyeball not far from the site of the incident.
