Traveling should be a happy thing, but a woman found a strange man hiding under the bed in her hotel room, which still scares her to this day!
According to Oriental Daily, the Ukrainian woman Natalie revealed that she traveled to Tokyo, Japan last month and stayed in a well-known hotel chain.
Everything was normal on the first day, but on the second night, she returned to the hotel room at about 7:30 and smelled a strange smell as soon as she walked in. At first, she suspected that it was her hair or the sheets, but in the end she found that the strange smell came from under the bed. She even joked and wondered if there was a body hidden.
Then, she looked under the bed and saw a pair of eyes staring at her. There was an Asian man hiding under the bed!
Natalie was so scared that she screamed, and the man quickly crawled out from under the bed and stared at her for about 3 seconds. At that moment, she thought her life was about to end, but the man suddenly yelled and fled the scene. Natalie was so scared that she ran out to ask the hotel staff for help.
After the police arrived at the scene and searched, they found a power bank and a cable under the bed. They initially judged that the man might have been lurking there a long time ago.
Afterwards, Natalie repeatedly asked the hotel staff how this could happen, but she never got a clear explanation. She asked the hotel to refund her accommodation fee and move to another hotel the next day.
Although she received a full refund in the end, she was dissatisfied with the hotel's negative attitude in handling the matter, and the police were unable to confirm the identity of the suspect, which made her restless and unable to sleep.
In order to protect her rights, she claimed US$1,600 (about RM7,000) in mental compensation from the hotel, but was rejected by the hotel.
Natalie said helplessly that the reason she made the matter public was that she hoped the hotel would take concrete actions and to remind all travelers to be vigilant when staying in the hotel.
Don't be careless when you are out. Be extra careful when staying in a hotel and dont forget to check under the bed!
