A compassionate gesture from a traffic policeman near the Maran Police Station in Pahang, Malaysia, has earned widespread acclaim from netizens after he rescued a frightened puppy from a drainage ditch.
In a recent post on the Royal Malaysian Police Facebook page, several photos were shared depicting Corporal Mohamad Fazli bin Sulaiman rescuing the distressed canine.
According to the post, Mohamad Fazli, from the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department in Maran, came to the aid of the puppy which had fallen into the drain.
The post read, "His assistance clearly demonstrates the caring nature of the 'Sang Saka Biru' (Royal Malaysian Police emblem), which extends not only to humans but also to all beings on Earth."
The series of photos illustrated how Mohamad Fazli, dressed in full uniform, embarked on the rescue mission.
One photo showed him stepping into the drainage ditch, attempting to reach the stranded puppy. Another displayed him inside the ditch, striving to get a better grip on the puppy, while a third showed him lifting the puppy and placing it on the grassy area near the drainage ditch.
The final photo depicted the rescued puppy sitting outside the police station's fence, with a police pickup truck visible in the background.
Mohamad Fazli's act of kindness has garnered praise from numerous netizens, who have expressed their gratitude for his compassionate actions.
