A passing in the family is never easy. It those times of grief, we need all the help we can get from either friends or family. But sometimes, the situation may not be as simple as one man had found out.

While travelling from Sandakan to Bongawan in Sabah, one mans van had broken down after its brake pump had began leaking, leaving him stranded on the side of the road. To make matters worse, his father-in-law had unfortunately passed away during this journey, leaving him even more grief stricken on top of it.

"Al-fatihah for my father-in-law. I just wanted to take him to the village with me, and now he's gone."

Taking to Facebook Live, he expressed his concern and pleaded for help as he was left with tears in his eyes on the side of the road. He explained in the session that he had wanted to take his father-in-law to his village to stay with him, and throughout the live video kept viewers informed on his fathers condition. Knowing the unfortunate demise of the relative, he had prayed that a hearse might pass by to help carry the body.

"If there is a hearse to take him to Bongawan, thank you, but right now, there is no (information) from Tamparuli to the Kota Belud junction."

While in the rain desperately trying to flag down anybody to help, he informed the people watching that no one that passed through the area had stopped to offer any help during that time and hoped that some kind person would come help manage the body of his father-in-law.

The live session had garnered a lot of attention and sympathy for his situation, with the hopes and prayers that he gets the help he truly needs soon. Thankfully, some medical personnel came to his aid, as was seen on a picture on the Facebook post he had posted soon after. 

During this time, we do send our prayers to him and his family and hope his father-in-law managed to get the send off he deserved.
