We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you have been carefully taking care of your old phones because you think there's no reason for an upgrade, then I have some pretty bad news. One of the biggest messaging apps - WhatsApp (I'm sure you've heard of them) will no longer be supported on a range of older phones.
Although removing support isn't new, millions of people choose to stick to their older phones because they just can't find a suitable replacement. Sadly, from November 1 onwards, smartphone owners of the following brands will be forced to upgrade.
