COVID-19 has become a contagious disease in various countries. As of 19th February 2020, there are more than 70,000 infected people in China, and confirmed cases have also appeared in different parts of the world. Currently, there is no medicine to cure this new type of virus. The only thing people can do is to improve their immunity, wash their hands frequently, wear face masks, and drink more water.

Fighting the pandemic has become a priority for people of all countries. During the pandemic, many rumours appeared. For example, alcohol kills bacteria, dryers can kill new coronaviruses and others. Some people even start to worry that parcels sent from China will carry viruses. The World Health Organization (WHO) has made a list of answers to solve people's doubts.https://img.webmd.com/dtmcms/live/webmd/consumer_assets/site_images/article_thumbnails/news/2020/01_2020/coronavirus_1/1800x1200_coronavirus_1.jpg

Neither surgical masks nor N95 can be reused. If a person has been exposed to the virus, the front of the mask would have been contaminated. Therefore, when taking off the mask, avoid touching the front of the mask. Remember to remove it from the front and wrap it in a trash can for proper disposal. After removing the mask, remember to clean your hands with sanitizer or soap.

The virus cannot be eliminated by solely using a hand dryer. You should use hand sanitizer or soap to clean your hands. Washing your hands is the best way to avoid getting the virus on your hands.

Currently, there is no evidence that pets could be infected with the new coronavirus. For the safety of pets and owners, wash hands with soap and water before and after touching pets to reduce the spread of bacteria.

The body temperature scanner is only effective for people who have a fever after being infected with the virus.

The research shows that people of all ages will be infected. However, patients who are older and have other diseases may be more likely to get the virus.

Cloves of garlic have antibacterial properties and are healthy food. Therefore, there is no disadvantage for you to consume them.

For prevention, you need to increase your daily nutritional intake to improve your immunity to avoid being attacked by the virus. Remember to wash your hands frequently, and most importantly do not be misled by the false rumours. Sometimes, rumours are more terrible than viruses.
