A 55-year-old man is believed to have been stabbed to death by his own wife in their home at Jalan RK 6/2, Rasah Kemayan, Seremban 2.
The incident happened at around 4 PM, where the victim was allegedly stabbed twice, specifically in the chest and waist using a sharp weapon.
According to the Seremban District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Nanda Maarof, they received a distress call at about 4:11 PM from the couple's 18-year-old daughter who witnessed the incident. "Preliminary examination on the victim's body showed two stab wounds on the chest and waist. The couple has four children, the last two of whom were witnesses to the incident," he said in a statement.
The motive for the incident was due to financial problems and the police detained the 55-year-old suspect and seized a sharp weapon. The victim, Poh Seng Hiap unfortunately did not survive.
