Disturbing news emerged yesterday regarding the tragic demise of 26-year-old singer Xu Jia Ling from Klang. The assailant, a supposed "friend" and "admirer" of two years, perpetrated the heinous act at Taman Chi Liung, Klang.
Jia Ling had informed her boyfriend that she would be meeting this 44-year-old "friend" for lunch, with her last message to her boyfriend being at 1:30 pm. Subsequent reports revealed that a disagreement between the suspect and victim unfolded after leaving the restaurant.
In a gruesome turn of events, the 44-year-old suspect brutally stabbed Jia Ling multiple times before transporting her lifeless body to his residence. After trying to wake her up to no avail, the assailant had inflicted harm upon himself using the same murder weapon.
Authorities then responded to an emergency call from a woman providing details about the murder in Taman Chi Liung, Klang. Upon reaching the suspect's residence, the police arrested him and discovered Jia Ling's lifeless body in the passenger seat of his car.
Medical professionals confirmed her demise, attributing the cause of death to a stab wound in her chest that had penetrated her heart. What's twisted is that the suspect had claimed to be Jia Ling's boyfriend during his arrest.
Shockingly, her family members were unaware of the suspect's existence.
At the time of writing, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) continues to investigate the motive behind this tragic murder.
