In a harrowing incident during the descent from Genting Highlands, a Malaysian woman found herself under attack by a large monkey as she ventured out of her vehicle to collect mineral water and wash her hands.
The victim was reportedly unaware of the presence of the aggressive primate, referred to as the "monkey king" by eyewitnesses. The situation escalated quickly as the monkey targeted the woman and began attacking her.
The poster and her family witnessed the incident as they passed by and promptly stopped their car. As they slowed down, the victim managed to kick the monkey away, quickly getting up and approaching the poster's car. The panicked victim repeatedly hit the poster's car window, seeking refuge. The poster agreed to let her in to protect her and pressed on the honk to scare the monkey away.
The victim was visibly shaken while sitting in the car. The poster claims that she and her child were also shocked by the incident, with her daughter crying loudly out of terror. They remained in the car, awaiting the arrival of the police.
