A crocodile was found in a drain in Melaka, and it’s huge!
Based on reports, the big crocodile was stuck in a narrow drain filled with trash, near the Kuala Sungai Baru Fisheries Development Centre.
Known to usually be in rivers, the crocodile appeared to be stuck in the drain, so residents quickly alerted the authorities.
The Civil Defence Force (APM), in collaboration with the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan), swiftly responded to a report, leading to the successful capture of a large crocodile.
The reptile, measuring 10 feet in length and weighing approximately 220 kilograms, was safely secured and handed over to Perhilitan for further handling and care.
