A retired teacher from Kuala Lumpur has struck it big, winning over RM6.7 million in the Da Ma Cai 1+3D Jackpot 1 prize. The fortunate win came from a sentimental choice of numbers: his late father's car number plate and the number of their old family home.

Da Ma Cai announced that the winning draw, held on December 29, saw multiple jackpots and bonus prizes claimed across various locations, totaling a remarkable RM9.04 million in winnings.

The retired teacher, who took home RM6,777,807, expressed his gratitude and shared his plans for the prize money.

"As an educator, I believe education creates opportunities that shape individuals and enhance the community's wellbeing," he said. "Every child deserves access to quality education, and I'm committed to supporting this cause."

He plans to use a portion of the winnings to renovate his family home and establish a fund dedicated to supporting underprivileged students, staying true to his lifelong commitment to education.

The December 29 draw also brought joy to other lucky winners. A 1+3D Jackpot winner from Puchong claimed the 3+3D Bonus 1st Prize of RM1,071,146. She revealed that her winning numbers were inspired by her children's birthdays and their zodiac signs.

Meanwhile, a family business owner from Lukut, Port Dickson, won RM871,506 in the 3D Jackpot. The winner credited their success to a vivid dream about the sea and a series of numbers that appeared in the sky.

"With Chinese New Year approaching, I plan to use the winnings for a long-awaited family vacation," the business owner shared with delight.
