Feeling annoyed when your makeup isn't lasting long? Does your makeup melt when you hang out during a hot afternoon and evening? Today, I am going to share some tips with you regarding how to keep your makeup looking nice all day long.

1. Multi-layered

A foundation is just not enough for an all-day-long makeup.

Before putting on makeup, toner and moisturizer are the important things to get rid of the impurities on the surface of the skin and maintain long-lasting hydration of the skin.

After balancing the complexion, you can start to apply primer and foundation to your face. Don't ever skip the step of applying primer, it is very important to have an excellent base to keep your makeup last longer as it helps to keep your foundation to stay longer. It will be nicer if you can add on eye and lip primer to have a better long-lasting effect.

Multi-layered is greater than one layer.

2. Sunscreen

Wear sunscreen to protect your skin from the UV rays.

You can either wear it as your primer or add on after primer to boost your sun protection more. Put on the light cream sunscreen instead of the heavy cakey one.

3. Light and thin

Heavy makeup will melt off easily when you are sweating.

Make it light and thin to help your cosmetics stay put. When you are applying foundation, dotting your face with the foundation at the general area and use your finger to tap slightly yet frequently on it.

Then, use your brush or sponge to blend out. Finally, choose an oil control pressed cushion to press it on the face blemish.

4. Setting spray & powder

Setting spray or powder is essential after you've done your makeup.

Finish your look with a setting spray to keep every makeup in place and last longer. 

5. Blotting papers

Try using a blotting paper to soak your sweat without damaging your makeup. Keep a pack of blotting paper in your bag to rub off your sweat or any residues on your skin without disturbing your make up. Avoid using tissue paper.

With the right makeup, everyone can be pretty powerful.
