It is undeniable that women are strong as they could play many different characters. Women are said to be the sunflower of a family and now, they are also contributing to society and the economy, unlike back in those old days.

There are many movies that highlighted the power of women. For example, 'Flashdance' is a musical that describes the exhilarating story of 18-year-old Alex who dreams of becoming a professional dancer. When a romance complicates her ambitions, she manages it well to drive her dream.

Another good movie about women is 'The Devils Wears Prada'. It is a story about a fresh journalism graduate, Andrea Sachs who works as the second assistant of the influential executive of the Runway fashion magazine, Miranda Priestly. This movie portrays how Andrea adjusted herself to fit into the fashion industry and the efforts she put into pursuing her dream. At the end of the movie, Andrea realizes that life is full of choices.

'La La Land', another inspiring story about women. An actress, Mia, and a jazz musician, Sebastian, strived to make ends meet while persevering their dreams in Los Angeles. This movie is all about daily life and lifetime love.

How are all these three movies be related? Well, of course, they are all about the passion of women in chasing their dream, but they are also related to UNIQLO Malaysia's new collection called the 'Women In Movies'.

This collection features a lot of amazing quotes related to music from the two movies mentioned above. For example, "If you close your eyes, you can see the music" from the movie 'Flashdance'. And one of my personal favourite quotes, which is from the movie 'La La Land', "We're gonna play whatever we want".
