A fire broke out at Jalan Pantai Chenang in Langkawi last night, destroying two restaurants and causing minor damage to a nearby vehicle. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.
Langkawi Zone Fire and Rescue Chief Mohd Zamri Abdul Ghani said his department received an emergency call at 8.11 pm, prompting an immediate response. Firefighters from the Padang Mat Sirat, Langkawi, and Persiaran Putra fire and rescue stations were dispatched to the scene.
