Macau casino pioneer, Stanley Ho Hung Sun died of illness in the afternoon of May 26 at the age of 98.
He had stayed in the ICU since the beginning of this year because of poor health conditions. His family members were informed by the doctors after his condition became critical on May 25.

According to Hong Kong's Oriental Daily News, he was accompanied by his family last night and he opened his eyes once. Three of his wives, Lucina Laam King Ying (2nd wife), Ina Chan Un Chan (3rd wife), and Angela Leong On Kei (4th wife) were by his sides. Previously, he had been injected with multiple cardiac stimulants in order to protect his life. However, he could no longer take a cardiotonic injection because of his extremely weak condition. Finally, he passed away at 1.05 pm on May 26.
