Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has announced that the barbershops, beauty salons, and open-air market have been allowed to resume work, while the food court, hawker center, food trucks, and food stalls are allowed to operate too.
According to Sinchew, commercial activities involving sales and marketing at non-business premises are also allowed to be carried out, including museum visits, indoor busking, self-service laundry, recreational fishing activities, and also filming are all allowed to resume operation.
Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said several sectors and activities are still barred under the RMCO, which starts on June 10 and ends on Aug 31.
According to New Straits Times,
"This includes pubs, nightclubs, entertainment outlets, reflexology centres, karaoke centres, theme parks, mass religious parades, 'kenduri', open houses, or other activities that involve the attendance of many people which makes it hard to maintain social distancing and compliance of the SOPs."
"More information on the list of activities and sectors that are allowed and barred is available on the National Security Council website," he said during a special televised broadcast today.
According to Astro Awani,
"Social distancing, the use of face masks in public and washing hands with soap or hand sanitizers are new habits that must be practiced,"
“Meetings and workshops are also allowed provided that they are fully compliant with health protocols and optimizing space,” Muhyiddin said.
