Seen yesterday 20th April, was 4th & 7th Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad, heading straight for the castle, to issue a warning against the King.
Urging the YDPA to revoke the state of emergency (enforced in January) upon the country, he noted how the people of Malaysia, Malays in particular, have been and could continue to, slowly turn against the royals.
Delivering a petition with over 39,000 signatures, Mahathir alongside other opposition leaders, also criticised the Queen Tunku Azizah Aminah, after she seemingly responded in a superficial manner to a commenter via social media.

Besides that, the King as of recent has also been under the spotlight, from rumors of him playing a role in the distribution of a small batch of Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccines (which were not approved by the country).

According to Mahathir, it was unusual to see Malays so openly express anger and dissatisfaction toward the country's hereditary rulers, and it was because no one had taken the liberty to inform the King, about the feelings of the Malays.
