Recently, a video of a Rapid Penang bus driver named Surendran assisting a disabled (OKU) passenger in a wheelchair reflected the aforementioned saying.
Cecelia published the video on Facebook's Penang Indian Networks page. She stated that the video was filmed on March 14 around 8.30 a.m.
The individual boarded at Times Square and was headed to a hospital. Surendran approached the passenger as he was ready to leave the bus and assisted him in exiting via the ramp.
He also assisted the disabled passenger in crossing the road before returning to the bus.
Many passengers on the bus admired his expertise and friendliness.
"I want to express my gratitude for his great efforts in keeping passengers safe and secure," she mentioned.
Rapid Penang also uploaded the video on their Facebook page, captioning it: "Our amazing bus captain, Mr. Surendran."
Many viewers of the video complimented him for his act of generosity. Others noted that bus drivers in Penang have always been kind and professional while completing their duties. Many individuals said that the world needed more people like him.
