A local woman voiced her frustrations after offering a single mother affordable rent, only to deal with an overstayed guest.
According to her post on Threads, the owner rented out the space for RM800 a month. After a year of the single mother living there with her child, the owner had enough.
The owner recounted how the woman pleaded to stay in the house. Throughout her stay, the owner repeatedly urged her to find a job. Despite the advice, the single mother remained unemployed, kept the house in disarray, and frequently brought her boyfriend over.

When confronted about her behavior, the single mother often reacted angrily. Additionally, her obsession with her computer led the owner to suspect she might be involved in online gambling.
In the comments, the owner revealed that the woman is related to her husband, and she offered the space as a favor. However, the guest's lack of accountability and responsibility caused significant stress.
Attempts to resolve the situation were met with hostility, and even a report to JKM proved ineffective.
Ultimately, the guest left ungratefully, leaving behind a mess.
