‘There were no ugly women, only lazy ones,’ says the bold statement of Helena Rubinstein. And after reading the inspiring story of this young Vietnam girl, we guess she is right.
According to Vietnam’s media, Le Thanh Ngan has always been teased by her friends during high schools due to her looks that is said to resemble a fox. Things went worse when she plucked up her courage to confess her feelings to her crush but was cruelly rejected.
“Who would want an ugly girl?” he allegedly told her that.
Fortunately, all the years of verbal abuse and the mean replies did not break her. This has, however, prompted Le to put more serious effort into her appearance. Thankfully, she managed to transform herself into a cute and charming girl, attractive to both boys and girls a few years later.
We guess this is a real smack in the face for the boy that mocked her, isn’t it?
Le said that she tried very hard to change, and during this period of time, she ignored all the teasing and laughing from others. She also learned to take good care of her skin and make-up herself. As she turns prettier day by day, she also becomes more confident. And that, according to Le, is the secret to becoming a real beauty.
Her physical appearance has improved a lot. Then, she decided to remove the mole on her face.
All her efforts yielded a positive result. Now, the once ugly duckling is nothing but a really beautiful swan. This can be proven through the pouring praises on her Instagram, saying that she’s pretty.
“But frankly, I’ve never heard anyone said that before,” said the inspiring Hanoi girl.
There, there. Sisters, are you still going to skip your skincare routine after this?
