Something is definitely brewing in the wizarding world.
There is an early development for a Harry Potter live-action series on HBO Max, although not yet in the making. No writers, no plots, and no actors or actresses are yet to be officially announced but the conversation around the spin-off of one of the biggest franchises on the planet is definitely happening.
So the Harry Potter franchise might have its own TV series, or it might not. We'll just have to wait and see.
However, not every fan is particularly overjoyed about this particular development as in the past, J.K Rowling was under fire for her problematic statement regarding the trans community. For the rest of the fans though, they are already discussing the possible universes that this live-action series would take place:
But the most important question is: who would you like to see playing as the big trio? Could Ian McKellen portray Dumbledore? Should the handsome Henry Cavill play Cedric Diggory?
Oh, the possibilities are definitely endless.
